Guided tours

Experience the charm of winemaking in the picturesque Colli Berici with an immersive vineyard tour and wine tasting adventure. Located in a serene corner of Italy’s Veneto region, this winery invites you to step back in time and enjoy the fruits of its rich, historic terroir.Your visit begins with a leisurely walk among the ancient grapevines, some over a century old, that stretch across sun-drenched hills. This is where the land’s unique mineral-rich "terrarossa" soil plays a pivotal role in cultivating grapes that produce robust and flavorful wines. As you explore, you’ll learn about the diverse microclimates that shape each vineyard plot, from the warm, exposed hilltops to the cooler, sheltered valleys. After this peaceful walk, you’ll settle in for a curated tasting of four exceptional wines from the estate’s range. These include whites and reds made from both indigenous and international grape varieties, each carefully paired with local delicacies like fine cheeses, prosciutto, and other artisanal cured meats.Among the wines you might sample is Il Rocolo Chardonnay, a fresh yet complex white that benefits from oak aging, offering fruity notes with a touch of vanilla and honey. Another highlight may be the Riva Olivaro Cabernet, a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmenere, bursting with bold fruit flavors and subtle spice, perfect when paired with grilled meats and robust cheeses. You might also taste La Vigna Vecia Tocai Rosso, a light-bodied red with vibrant cherry aromas, unique to the Colli Berici. This wine, made from a historic local variety, pairs well with both fish and pasta dishes. Rounding out the experience could be La Costiera, a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Tocai Rosso, known for its deep red fruit flavors and a hint of black pepper, perfect for hearty dishes like lamb and beef. This diverse selection of wines showcases the estate’s commitment to quality and sustainability. The vines, tended with eco-friendly practices, are grown without irrigation, encouraging deep root systems and allowing the grapes to develop strong, natural flavors. The aging process takes place in French oak barrels, adding further depth and complexity to each wine.As you sip and savor these wines, you’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty of the Colli Berici hills. The rolling landscape, shaped by ancient geological events, offers panoramic views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes this tasting experience unforgettable.Whether you are a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking to enjoy a day in the Italian countryside, this tour and tasting offers a perfect blend of history, flavor, and the charm of rural life. You’ll leave with a deeper appreciation of the land and the winemaking tradition that has been passed down through generations
