Immerse yourself in a unique wine-tasting experience and explore a historic tufa cave cellar in Orvieto. Discover the fascinating underground cellar carved into the tufa rock, witnessing the ancient wine-aging techniques still in use today. Savor a tasting of three exquisite wines: two dry varieties—one white and one red—and a sweet Vin Santo, a cherished dessert wine typical in central Italy. Enjoy a selection of regional and local cured meats and cheeses, perfectly paired with the first two wines, enhancing the flavors and offering a true taste of local tradition. To conclude, enjoy traditional Tuscan tozzetti (similar to cookies/biscuits) that will be paired alongside the Vin Santo, creating a delightful end to this memorable journey into Italy’s rich oenological heritage.
